(November 2, 2025) — Police Major General Jaturapat Bhiromkaew, Commander of the Foreign Affairs Division and Deputy Spokesperson of the Royal Thai Police, revealed that The Royal Thai Police (RTP) is honored to host the 43rd ASEANAPOL National Police Conference from 3 – 7 November 2025 Bangkok. H.E. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul will attend as Guest of Honor, and Police General Kittharath Punpetch, Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, will lead the Thai delegation.
The ASEANAPOL Conference, formally known as the ASEAN National Police Conference, is the primary platform for law-enforcement cooperation among the ten ASEAN Member States: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The conference will bring together approximately 280 senior police officials, along with dialogue partners and observers from international law-enforcement agencies.
ASEANAPOL plays a critical role in strengthening regional coordination to combat transnational crime — including cybercrime, human trafficking, online scam and fraud networks, narcotics trafficking, and emerging criminal threats. This year’s theme —Collaboration in Action: Crushing Scam, Disrupting Fraud, and Protecting People” — reflects the united commitment of ASEAN national police forces to safeguard communities in both physical and digital environments.
The conference agenda includes the ASEANAPOL Executive Committee Meeting, Plenary Sessions, crime-focused Commission discussions, and a Head of Delegations Discussion Forum. It will also feature engagements with dialogue partners and observers, bilateral meetings, and working-group discussions aimed at strengthening joint operational frameworks and coordinated systems for preventing and responding to online scams and fraud across the ASEAN region.
The 43rd ASEANAPOL Conference will directly benefit public safety by enhancing the ability of ASEAN law-enforcement agencies to prevent and disrupt online scams, cross-border fraud schemes, and other digital crimes targeting citizens. Improved intelligence-sharing and coordinated responses will lead to faster support for victims, particularly those affected by cybercrime and human trafficking.
